This Privacy Policy explains how Assisted Living Launchpad ('we,' 'us,' 'our') collects, uses, shares, and protects information in connection with ALF Smart Deal (the 'Service').
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide
- Account data: name, email, password, company name, role.
- Billing data: processed by our payment processor (Stripe); we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- Assessment data: property addresses, financial inputs, and assessment responses you submit.
- Uploaded documents: files uploaded to the Document Vault.
- Support communications: messages you send us through forms or email.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data: pages viewed, features used, session timing.
- Device and log data: IP address, browser type, device type, referring URL.

Information from third parties
When you run an assessment, we fetch property data from Google Maps, FEMA, US Census, and ATTOM Data Solutions. This data is tied to the property address you submit, not to your personal identity.
3. How We Use Information
- To operate and deliver the Service.
- To process payments and manage subscriptions.
- To communicate with you (service updates, support, billing).
- To improve the Service, including product analytics and model performance.
- To comply with legal obligations.
- To prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers (e.g., Supabase for database hosting, Vercel for application hosting, Stripe for payments, Anthropic for AI report generation) acting on our behalf under contractual confidentiality obligations.
- Third-party data providers (Google Maps, FEMA, US Census, ATTOM) who receive property addresses to return property and location data.
- Legal recipients when required by law, court order, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
- Business transfer recipients in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Privacy Policy.
5. AI Processing
When you request an AI Report, your assessment data is sent to Anthropic's API for processing by Claude Opus 4. Anthropic processes this data under its commercial terms, which (as of the last updated date above) state that API inputs are not used to train Anthropic's models by default. You should not submit personally sensitive information in your assessment data that you do not want processed by our AI subprocessor.
6. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, session management, security, and analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking some cookies may impair Service functionality.
7. Data Retention
We retain account and assessment data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations. You may request deletion of your account by contacting privacy@alfsmartdeal.com.
8. Security
We use industry-standard security practices, including encryption in transit (TLS), Supabase Row Level Security for database isolation, and access controls. No online service is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, or object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@alfsmartdeal.com. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
10. Children
The Service is not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. International Users
The Service is operated from the United States. If you access it from outside the US, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the US.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or in-app notice. The 'Last updated' date above indicates when the Policy was last revised.
